Holnap kellett volna kapnom a 3. adag chemo-t. Egy hét csúszás biztos lesz, mivel múlt héten remélhetően csak egy erős bakteriális fertőzés miatt nagyon belázasodtam (39.5C) és most antibiotikum-ot kapok. A lábam gyulladt be egy hatalmas vörös folt jelent meg. Állítólag ezt a népnyelv orbáncnak hívja. Most már jobban vagyok, de a láz több napra rendesen kiütött. A hajzatomtól is meg kellett válni teljesen mert a második kemo utáni pár napban annyira elkezdett hullani a hajam, hogy 0-ás géppel kellett megoldani. Kicsit furcsa és fázik a fejem. Nem is gondolná az ember, hogy a haj mennyire melegít.
Malakiás 3,20-ból kaptam a napokban bíztatást:
"De fölragyok majd az igazság napja számotokra, akik nevemet félitek, és sugarai gyógyulást hoznak."

It was scheduled to get the 3rd chemo tomorrow but it will be delayed at least by 1 week because during last week I got a very strong bacterical infection and got very high fever (39.5C). Now I am treated with antibiotics. A huge red circle appeared very quickly on one of my legs. There is a special local name of this type of inflammation which I cant translate. Now I feel better but the fever kicked me out strongly. I needed to say goodbye to my hair also because after the second chemo it started to fall very quickly. It is a bit strange and my head is always cold. I would not have thought that the hair can keep warm that much.
I got encouragement from God from the book of Malachi:
"But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings."

Ma megkaptam a második kemot is. Továbbra is jól tolerálom. Elkészült egy genetikai vizsgálat is az egyik korábbi műtét alapján és az orvos szerint a jó hír, hogy a daganat tipusa a kevésbé agresszív fajtából való és ha a mostani kemo nem lenne eredményes akkor még mindig van két másik fajta szer ami bevethető szükség esetén.

A napokban a Jób könyvéből kaptam bíztatást:
Jób 33, 28-30.: "Megváltott engem, hogy ne jussak a sírba, és életem a világosságban gyönyörködjék. Mindezt kétszer-háromszor is megteszi Isten az emberrel, hogy visszahozza őt a sírból és ráragyog az élők világossága."

Today I've got the second chemo in the row. I tolerate it quite well. There was a genetical exam based on an earlier operation and the result is good. According to the doctor the type of toumor is less agressiv and there are still 2 types of chemo which could be used if the current one would not be effective.
I got encouragement from the book of Job:
33,28-30.: "He redeemed my soul from going down to the pit, and I will live to enjoy the light.' God does all these things to a man twice, even three times, to turn back his soul from the pit, that the light of life may shine on him."

Elkezdődött a kemoterápia 13-án. 4 alkalommal 2 hetente fogok kapni infúziót és utána kontroll CT vizsgálat lesz, hogy megnézzék a hatást. Hála Istennek eddig semmi különös mellékhatást nem érzek, remélem ez a későbbiekben is így marad. Isten bátorítását ma reggel két igén keresztül is kaptam:
"Ne nyugtalankodjék a ti szívetek: higyjetek Istenben és higyjetek énbennem." János 14, 1.
"De megmenekül mindenki aki segítségül hívja az Úr nevét..." Jóel 3,5.

The chemotherapy has started on 13th of Jan. I will receive 4 times in every other week and then I'll have a control CT to see the impact. Thanks to God so far I do not feel much side effects and I hope this will be the same later on as well. I received God's encouragement through two Bible verses this morning:
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." John 14,1
"And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved." Joel 2,32 (NIV)

Megkaptam a PET-CT eredményét ami sajnos nem olyan mint amit reméltünk. Mindjárt el is vittem az onkológusnak. Január 13-án indítják a chemoterápiát ami több hónapig fog tartani. Isten kezében vagyunk és továbbra is hiszünk és reménykedünk!
Ézsaiás 57, 18-19.:
"Láttam útjait, mégis meggyógyítom és vezetem őt. Vígasztalással fizetek neki és gyászolóinak. Megteremtem ajkán a hála gyümölcsét: Békesség, békesség közel és távol! Ezt mondja az Úr: Meggyógyítom őt!"

I've received the result of the PET CT exam which is not that what we hoped for. I've taken it to the oncologist who prescribed chemo from 13 January. It will take several months. We are in God's hand and continue to beleive and hope!
Isaiah 57, 18-19.: "I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him, creating praise on the lips of the mourners in Israel. Peace, peace, to those far and near," says the LORD. "And I will heal them."

Elnézést, hogy ilyen soká nem írtam. December 19-én megvolt a PET CT vizsgálatom, de eredmény még nincs. Remélem ezen a héten megkapom és akkor többet tudok a továbbiakról. Sok igén keresztül bátorít Isten, melyetet a közeljövőben felteszek.

Apologies for the long silence. I had the PET CT exam on 19 Dec but I have no results yet. I hope I will get it this week and I will know more about the next steps. God is encouraging me throught many Bible verses I will share during the next days together with the further steps.

Peaceful and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Elég régen írtam már, amiért elnézést. Az elmúlt két hét meglehetősen sűrű volt. Először is kivették a varratokat és megkaptam a szövettan eredményét, ami kb. ugyanaz volt mint a nyirokcsomó kivételt indokló korábbi biopszia eredménye, csak részletesebb. A sebész még egy PET CT vizsgálatot kért amit az onkológus el is indított. Ezt csak kevés helyen végzik és időbe telik míg sorra kerül az ember. Közben sajnos a seb begyulladt amitől lázas lettem és fel kellett tárni. A PET CTre meglepő gyorsan 1 hét alatt be is hívtak, csak most a seb gyulladás okoz gondot, ami miatt valószínű a PET CTt is halasztani kell. De ezt majd az orvosok eldöntik. Itthon dolgozok és várom, hogy Isten további gyógykítása is nyílvánvaló legyen. Az alábbi ige, jól jellemzi jelenlegi állapotomat:

"Miért csüggedsz el, lelkem, és miért háborogsz bennem? Bízzál Istenben, mert még hálát adok neki, szabadító Istenemnek!" 43.Zsoltár 5.

I made my last entry on the blog quite some time ago, and I would like to apologise for this. The last 2 weeks were rather busy. The strings were removed after the last smaller ops. And I received the tissue exam results which are pretty much same as the initial biopsy result which required this smaller surgery, just more detailed. The surgeon prescribed another PET CT exam which was scheduled by the oncologist. In the meantime I got some inflammation around the cut which caused some fever for few days but now this has been treated and I am OK. The PET CT which is now scheduled might be posptponed because of this inflammation but this will be decided by the oncologist. I am working from home and waiting for God's healing to be visible completely. The following Bible verse well represents my current status:

"Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." Psalm 43,5.
