Elkezdődött - It is started
Ma elkezdődtek a kezelések az Uzsoki útcai Kórházban. Először a kemoterápiás infúziót kaptam meg ami kb. 1 óra alatt lement. Utána pedig a sugárkezelés következett ami szintén hamar kb. 10 perc alatt megtörtént. Persze összesen kellett kb 2-2.5 órát várakozni. Egyelőre semmilyen mellékhatást nem érzek. Ezen a héten kapok kemoterápiát és majd a kezelés utolsó 5. hetében. A közbülső 3 hétben csak sugárkezelés lesz.
Today the treatments have started. Firstly I got the chemoterapy infusion which was completed in 1 hour. After this I got the radiation which took approx 10 minutes only. However I had to wait approx 2-2.5 hours before and during the treatments. I have no side effects so far. I will get chemo this week and during the 5th week of the treatments. During the weeks of 2-4 I will get only radiation.

Gyülekezeti alkalmon - In the church
Ma délelőtt ismét gyülekezetben voltunk, ahol az alkalomvezető testvér kérte a betegeket, hogy kezüket emeljék fel. A körülállók pedig kézrátétellel imádkozzanak a betegekért. Értem is imádkoztak többen is. Az ima végén az egyik testvér egy üzenettel bátorított mely szinte szórol szóra megegyezik azzal amit a már korábban említett M. Basilea Schlink könyvében a Szenvedésben elrejtett kincsben a napokban olvastam. Most ebből idézek:
"Egy dolog bizonyos. Isten mindig válaszol imádságainkra, bár sokszor olyan úton, melyet először nem értünk. Az Ő gondolatai, tervei, szándékai sokkal magasabbak mint a mi gondolataink - sokkal-sokkal csodálatosabbak! Today we attended the morning service in our church. The leader of the service asked the sick people to raise their hands. He also asked that those who are nearby to the sick people pray for them by laying their hands on them. Several brothers have also prayed for me. After the prayer one of them has encouraged me with a message which is almost exactly the same what I've recently red in the book of M.Basilea Schlink. The following is the excerpt from this book:

M.Basilea Schlink könyvét olvasom melynek címe A szenvedésben elrejtett kincs. A belső vívódások című fejezetben olvastam a következőket melyeken keresztül bátorított Isten a mai napon:
I read the book of M.Basilea Schlink titled: The treasure which is hidden in suffer. I've read the following thoughts in the chapter called Inside frustration. God has strengthened me via these thoughts.
"Ahelyett, hogy kétségek és kísértések között vergődnél, és hagynád, hogy azok kínozzanak, lépj be Isten szeretete hajójába, ahol Jézus áll a kormányrúdnál. Akkor eléred az Isten által számodra eltervezett dicsőséges célt. Visszatekintve majd meglátod, hogy minden - az Atyától jövő esemény - az Ő örök bölcsességével volt átitatva és szeretetteljes szíve gondolta ki azokat. Egész idő alatt azért vezetett azon a bizonyos úton, hogy valami csodálatosat hozzon létre az életedben."

Elhalasztott kezelés - Delayed treatment
Ma kellett volna elkezdődjön a sugár és kemoterápiás kezelés, de jövő hétfőre rendeltek vissza mivel karbantartást kellett a gépeken végezni. Nem volt könnyű lenyelni, nem is sikerült bosszankodás nélkül, de hisszük, hogy ez is Isten kezében van és Ő tudja mi miért történik.
The chemotherapy and radiation treatment were scheduled to start today but this morning I've got a new term for next Monday as the system required urgent maintenance. It was not easy to stay calm and I could not but we hope that this is also in God's hands and He knows why things are happening.

3. During the morning service today in our church there was an opportunity to personally encourage each other. One of the brothers came to me and encouraged me with the verse of Romans 8,11:
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

Szentmihályon - In my old church again
Ma délelőtt édesapám autóval értem jött és elvitt a régi gyülekezetbe ahová 2007. szeptemberéig tartoztunk. Rózsa nem tudott jönni mert a Havanna evangélizáción volt szolgálata. Nagyon jó volt a régi testvérekkel találkozni és megtapasztalni imádkozó szeretetüket és törődésüket. Nagy örömmel vettek körül és éreztem őszinte támogatásukat, együttérzésüket. Bizonyságtételem után a gyülekezetvezető testvér azzal az igei gondolattal bíztatott, hogy Istennek van hatalam kiárasztani az Ő teljes kegyelmét életemben. Ebben bízom és hiszem is.

It was very good to meet with the brothers from the old church and to feel their praying love and care. They were also very happy to meet me and I felt their true support and symphathy. After my testimony the church leader greeted and encouraged me with the Bible verse: God has power to pour out his full grace to my life. This is my trust and I beleive in this.

Házicsoportban - Prayer group
Tegnap este résztvettünk gyülekezeti házicsoport alkalmon. Nagyon jó, bátorító, erősítő volt a számomra. A testvérek imádkoztak értem és bátorítottak igével, látással. Az egyik ige amit kaptam ezen az alkalmon egy testvér által az
55. Zsoltár 23. verse: "Vesd az Úrra terhedet, és ő gondot visel rád! Nem engedi sohasem, hogy ingadozzon az igaz."
Yesterday evening we attended a prayer group meeting with brothers from our chruch. It was a very good session which encouraged me a lot. The brothers prayed for me and encouraged with Bible verses. One of the verses I got is Psalms 55, 23:

Támadások - Attacks
Gondoltam az igeversek mellett pár sorban irok a napjaimról is.
Az igék sokat erősítenek és bizalmam, hitem napról napra nő. De, a gonosz próbál minden alkalmat megragadni, hogy gyengítsen erőtlenítsen.
Csak néhány példa:
Még augusztus végén történt, hogy orvoshoz menet karamboloztam. Akkor már nem kellett volna vezetnem. Főleg nem az első onkológusi vizit előtt. Sajnos nem koncentráltam eléggé. Máskor ilyen esetben 2 hétig rágódok a dolgon, most 2 percig tartott. A kocsi majdnem totálkáros lett. Szerencsére nekünk nem esett bajunk a balesetben.
Naponta próbál a sátán gyengíteni olyan gondolatokkal, hogy úgysem élem túl. Próbálok ellene menni, de sokszor akkor kapok észbe ha már jó mélyen benne vagyok a gondolatban. De ilyenkor Jézus nevében ellene megyek.
Pár napja 2 órát várakoztam 2 orvosra várva. Mire az elsőnél végeztem a másiknak el kellett mennie. kb. 50 km-t utaztam fölöslegesen. Nem mondom, hogy nem voltam ideges. (Nem is gondoltam volna, hogy ilyen nagy ez a város. A 18. és 3. kerület között kb 25 km van.)
Az egyik vizsgálatot már harmadszorra kell megismételni mert nem tudnak eredményt produkálni.
Szóval, változatosan próbálja a gonosz békességem elűzni, de ha pár percre sikere is van összességében elvesztette a játszmát. :-)
I thought that beside the Bible verses I write some words about my daily life occasionally. The verses strengthen me and my trust and beleive grow day by day. But the evil tries to use all opportunities to weaken me.
Some examples: while we were going to the first visit to the oncology we had a car crash with my wife. Normally I am nervous for 2 weeks in such event but now it took only 2 minutes. The car was almost totally damaged but thanks to God we had no injuries.
Some days ago I had to wait 2 hours for two doctors and when I finished with the first one and the administrative tasks the other one who was due to do the examination left and could not meet with me. I travelled 50 km-s for nothing. (Did not realise yet how big is Budapest! The hospital and my home have 25 km approx)
One of the exams has been repeated 3 times because the test material is not usable.
There are various ways how the evil wants to dismiss my peace however if he has short couple of minutes wins, he already lost the the game. :-)

A közelmúltban tudtam meg, hogy rosszindulatú daganat van a szervezetemben.
Mivel hiszek Istenben és fiában Jézusban sokat imádkoztam és kértem választ imáimra és útmutatást Istentől ebben a helyzetben. Ebben a blog-ban azokat az igéket, bibliaverseket teszem közzé melyeken Isten üzent a számomra.

Because I beleive in God and in his Son Jesus Christ, I have prayed a lot and asked God's direction and answers in this situation. In this blog I would like to share those Bible verses and messages which were sent to me by God.
I hope these will help others also.
