Gyülekezeti alkalmon - In the church

Ma délelőtt ismét gyülekezetben voltunk, ahol az alkalomvezető testvér kérte a betegeket, hogy kezüket emeljék fel. A körülállók pedig kézrátétellel imádkozzanak a betegekért. Értem is imádkoztak többen is. Az ima végén az egyik testvér egy üzenettel bátorított mely szinte szórol szóra megegyezik azzal amit a már korábban említett M. Basilea Schlink könyvében a Szenvedésben elrejtett kincsben a napokban olvastam. Most ebből idézek:

"Egy dolog bizonyos. Isten mindig válaszol imádságainkra, bár sokszor olyan úton, melyet először nem értünk. Az Ő gondolatai, tervei, szándékai sokkal magasabbak mint a mi gondolataink - sokkal-sokkal csodálatosabbak! Emberi mértékkel ki nem fejezhető módon szeret, és sokkal jobban meg akar áldani, mint ahogy elképzeljük, vagy várjuk. Több mint 60 éve az Úr követésében mindig ez volt a tapasztalatom, amikor úgy tűnt, hogy imádságaimra nem érkezik válasz. Bízzunk tehát fenntartás nélkül Isten szeretetében, mivel Igéje beteljesedik: "Kérjetek és adatik nektek." (Máté 7,7)"

Today we attended the morning service in our church. The leader of the service asked the sick people to raise their hands. He also asked that those who are nearby to the sick people pray for them by laying their hands on them. Several brothers have also prayed for me. After the prayer one of them has encouraged me with a message which is almost exactly the same what I've recently red in the book of M.Basilea Schlink. The following is the excerpt from this book:

"One thing is for sure. God always answers our prayers, however sometimes in a way what we don't understand. His thoughts, plans, goals are much higher than our thoughts - much much more wonderful. He loves us in a way that can not be explained by human terms and he wants to bless us much more than we expect it or plan it. More than 60 years in serving God, I always experienced this when it seemed that there is no response to my prayers. Lets trust without any doubts in God's love because his word will come true: "Ask and it will be given to you" (Matthew 7,7)"
